Most YMCA Employment, Training & Settlement programs have a self-employment component as part of career training. It is important for our clients to know that if they have an idea, a solid business plan and some resources, that they may wish to consider self-employment. It is all part and parcel of YMCA career training modules.

The Hamilton Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) is the go-to site for information and tools that entrepreneurs need to grow their businesses. Operating as an arm of the Economic Development and Real Estate Division of the City of Hamilton, the Centre is a one-stop source for business information, guidance and professional advice on starting and running a successful business - for both start-up and growing businesses.
