Community Connections is a program designed to help you learn more about Canadian culture and your new community through participation in a wide variety of activities and events.

You may also be "matched" with a community volunteer who can provide useful information and support during the settlement process, i.e. learning about the education system, becoming familiar with transportation services, occupational information, practicing spoken English, etc.

A Conversation Café provides a relaxed environment where you can practise your spoken English. This is a great way to make new friends – and gain confidence and skills for job interviews!

A group of newcomer women meets every month for a variety of activities and topics. It is an excellent way to meet new people and make friends while learning more about life in Canada.
